What is the power source?

  • It works with both Type-C and battery. The two are interchangeable. (The battery alone lasts about a month.)
  • If you use Type-C for a long time, please remove the battery. (We recommend using a certified adapter with 5V-1A capability.)

How do I set the clock?

1. Access the rear of the mechanism by opening the battery compartment.

2. Locate the hour setting dial in the lower left.

3. Using a screwdriver, turn the center screw counterclockwise until it lines up with the current time.

How many times does the cuckoo clock chime per hour?

The cuckoo clock chimes three times on the hour, regardless of the time. This is part of the design. Instead of matching the number of chimes per hour to the time, it provides a fun and consistent sound experience.

How does a clock work?

The cuckoo sound and the clock mechanism are electronically linked. This product uses a quartz movement powered by a highly accurate quartz crystal. The clock mechanism's time signal is reliably transmitted to the cuckoo mechanism. (Hint: The more precise the assembly, the more precise the cuckoo sound.) The pendulum swings continuously when powered on. If you want to stop it, install the pendulum following the instructions in the manual.
